Instead of contacting individual Service Centers or local Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS) offices for information, a new 800 number has been established. Persons making inquiries can now call the BCIS toll-free for automated information and live assistance concerning immigration services and benefits.

The toll-free number is 1.800.375.5283. More information about the services offered through the NCSC, as well as the hours for live assistance, is available online. Automated information is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
