January 24 - The USCIS San Francisco District Office is inviting community members to its first national Chinese-language public engagement at the San Francisco Field Office on Thursday, February 16, 2012 from 1:30 am- 12:00 pm. Hosted by the Office of Public Engagement, the event is the first in a series called “Jiao Liu,” which means “engagement” in Chinese. Each engagement event will focus on a particular immigration or citizenship matter and include a Q&A session with USCIS officials. The upcoming session in February will center of the theme of “The Naturalization Process: Becoming a United States Citizen.”
The Office of Public Engagement encourages individuals to participate in person, via teleconference, or live Web streaming.
